This policy explains what personal information Yumiyaki Sukiyaki House collects, why, who we share it with and the choices you have. We have written it to describe what this website and our restaurant actually do.

Yumiyaki Sukiyaki House (“Yumiyaki”, “we”, “us”) is a sukiyaki restaurant at 18184 Colima Rd, Rowland Heights, California, and the sister restaurant of Mikiya Wagyu Shabu House. This policy covers yumiyakiofficial.com and the information you share with us when you contact us or dine with us.
Our membership is a shared program with Mikiya Wagyu Shabu House. Information you give when you join or use the membership is handled under Mikiya’s Privacy Policy and its membership terms.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
This website has no accounts, sign-up forms or newsletter. We receive information from you only when you choose to contact us — by phone, by email or through Instagram — such as your name, phone number, email address, party size and anything you tell us, for example about allergies.
Reservations
Reservations are made through Yelp. Yelp collects your booking details and shares with us what we need to seat you, such as your name, phone number, party size, time and any note you add. Yelp’s own privacy policy covers the information Yelp collects.
When you dine with us
If you pay by card, the payment is processed by our payment provider under its own terms. If you join or use the membership at the restaurant, that information is handled under Mikiya’s Privacy Policy, as above.
Information collected automatically on this website
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how the site is used: the pages viewed, clicks on links such as Reserve, Call, Directions and the menu downloads, the website that referred you, your device and browser type, and your approximate location at the city level. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. You can turn analytics off at any time under .
- Hosting. Our host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser, time and page requested) to deliver the site and keep it secure.
- Fonts and maps. Our fonts are served by Google Fonts, and the Visit page shows an embedded Google Map. When your browser loads them, Google receives your IP address and browser information, and the map may set Google cookies.
We do not use advertising pixels or advertising cookies, and we do not build advertising profiles.
3. How we use information
- to answer your questions and look after your reservation and visit, including allergy notes;
- to run, secure and improve this website, and to understand which pages help guests find us;
- to meet legal obligations and protect our guests, staff and business.
4. How we share information
We share personal information only with:
- Service providers that work for us — Google (analytics, fonts, maps), Vercel (hosting) and Yelp (reservations) — under their terms and only for these purposes;
- Mikiya Wagyu Shabu House, for the shared membership program;
- Authorities or others when the law requires it, or to protect rights, safety and property;
- A successor if the restaurant is sold or reorganized.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics sets two first-party cookies when analytics is on, and we keep your privacy choice in your browser’s local storage. When you turn analytics off, Google Analytics sets no cookies. Details are in our Cookie Policy.
6. How long we keep information
Google Analytics event data is kept for 14 months and then deleted. Server logs are kept for the short period our host retains them. Messages and reservation details are kept only as long as we need them to serve you and to meet legal requirements.
7. How we protect information
The site is served only over HTTPS, and access to guest information is limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share.
8. Your rights and California privacy notice
If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you the right to:
- know and access the personal information we have collected about you;
- delete personal information we collected from you;
- correct inaccurate personal information;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we do not sell or share it;
- limit the use of sensitive personal information — we do not collect it for that purpose;
- be free from discrimination for using any of these rights.
In the past 12 months we have collected these categories: identifiers (name, phone number and email address when you contact us or book through Yelp; IP address in server logs); internet activity (how you use this website); and approximate geolocation (city, from analytics). We collect them from you, from Yelp and from your browser, for the purposes in section 3, and disclose them only to the recipients in section 4.
To make a request, email or call us using the details below. We will confirm your request, verify your identity by matching information we already hold, and respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent, who must show your written permission. Wherever you live, you are welcome to ask us what we hold about you or to delete it.
9. Children’s privacy
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top.
